Soil and plant health monitoring workshop banner

COBWA has two soil and plant health monitoring workshops coming up. One in Albany on Wednesday the 11th of October 2023 and one in Bridgetown on Friday the 13th of October 2023.

In this one-day workshop, experts Professor Lynette Abbott (UWA), Paul Galloway (DPIRD), and Mark Tupman (Productive Ecology) bring their wealth of knowledge and experience to the topic of monitoring soil and plant health. Learn about the principles of soil health, what information tests and tools can provide that can guide your land management practices and get hands-on experience with the most accessible and useful tools. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss topics with the experts in this highly interactive program and will start making their own soil health monitoring plan. Post-workshop, participants may like to apply for their own tests and tools up to the value of $3,450.

Topics these workshops cover include:

  • Principles of soil health
  • What soil health means to you
  • Common tests and what they can (and can’t) provide
  • Hands-on experience with the most accessible and useful tools
  • How to make your own soil health monitoring plan

Cost: $50 for non-members; $45 for members (members - check your email for promo code to access this reduced price)
