SUPPORT FOR PRODUCERS TO ACCESS THE MOST APPROPRIATE SOIL AND PLANT HEALTH MEASURING TOOLS
Soil and plant health are key components of the profitability and sustainability of all farms. This project, supported by funding from AgriFutures Australia’s Producer Technology Uptake Program, aims to provide support to producers that want to improve the health of their soil. COBWA will deliver four workshops that showcase a selection of soil and plant health tools that are currently available, give producers the information needed to decide what tools are most appropriate and support them to make a soil health monitoring plan. COBWA will also make available to 20 farmers funding to purchase soil health monitoring tools and tests.
APPLICATIONS FOR ROUND ONE OF THE FUNDING IS NOW OPEN!!!
Applicants can apply for tools and tests to the value of up to nearly $4,500. Applicants must agree to contributing 30% of the value of tools and tests requested and share information about using tools and tests through short stories on social media.
